Don’t know why I decided I wanted to know this, but I set about finding out some stuff about China’s “Great Red Firewall” and I came across www.greatfirewallofchina.org so ran a test on blog.willboyce.com, only to find out that it is blocked from within China! What, exactly, is on here that the Chinese Government deem unsuitable for their population, 20% of the planet’s population? It’s a bloody stupid practice if you ask me… Still, wouldn’t mind seeing a screenshot of my site getting censored by the Great Red Firewall..

Edit: I was just browsing my W3Counter and it claimed I had 3 visitors from Hong Kong and a further 2 from elsewhere in China. I’ve read some reports of www.greatfirewallofchina.org being somewhat unreliable (read: complete bullshit), however http://www.websitepulse.com/help/testtools.china-test.html appears to be a lot more reliable, reporting that my website is accessible and that sites such as Wikipedia, are not. Sorry for any confusion the first site may’ve caused!
