Wii Define Fun
…in the words of Jonathon ‘Woss’, and that is exactly what I’m going to spend my entire night doing on my brand new Nintendo Wii! Just picked it up from Game, and I can’t wait to get home. I decided to go a bit mental and bought 5 games for my Wii; leaving me with:
- Red Steel
- WarioWare: Smooth Moves
- Sonic and the Secret Rings
- Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
- Spider-Man 3
- And, of course.. Wii Sports
I wouldn’t mind a copy of Wii Play (most for the extra controller) but they didn’t have any copies of those left.. Might try Game Station etc later.
I just can’t bloody wait to get home.. Although… There is a projector in my office…? hmmmm
Awesome
You’ll have to tell me what red steel is like, still contemplating buying it. hmm..

Monkey Ball is dire. Spider-Man 3 is also pretty poor.
Wii Play is well worth it though. Why no Twilight Princess? My housemate is loving Mario Strikers Charged also.

I have got Zelda off my little sister, I quite rate Spider Man 3.. The ‘controls’ are probably one of the best.. The Party Games on Monkey Ball are quite good, but short lived.
Red Steel, I think is too hard to control. To be honest, if I was buying again I’d just get a Wii + WiiSports, it’s definately the best! (Altho WarioWare is excellent!)

True, the SM3 controls are kinda cool… my problem with the game is its actually a huge step down from Spider-Man 2 (no indoor areas…wtf), and nowhere near as good as the SM3 games for the PS3, 360, or even DS!
Supposedly a lot of features were taken out compared to PS3 and 360 because of the lower power of the Wii… but that really makes no sense as SM2 was on Gamecube (comparable to Wii in power) and was a hell of a lot more complete than this.
If you like Wii sports and the Monkey Ball minigames, definitely try out Wii Play. WarioWare is next on my list also

Mario Party & Super Smash Bros. FTW!!!!! But I completely agree about SpiderMan (Re: Spiderman 2 also!). I think the Wii is definitely suited towards the less serious games (like nintendo always have been I suppose)
