Tomorrow is Going to Own

So, sometime this week I decided that I want an RFID Tag Implant.. For the uneducated among you, this means I will be having a 2mm x 12mm RFID Transmitter (professionally) implanted underneath the skin in my right hand.

But why? You may be asking.. Well a whole host of reasons. Basically anything you do with a key, you can do without a key. Then all the other reasons, and just the general automation of things.. Could even go all Bill Gates about things and have the lights (porn?) come on when I walk into my house.. Nice!

Tomorrow, my Sterile tags + Implanter Syringe arrive from ManningsRFID along with my PhidgetsRFID Reader from Active-Robots. First project? Not sure.. Sometime over the next few days I’ve got a book - RFID Toys coming, should provide some assistance. Probably go with something nice and simple like unlock my PC at first, but the idea of having my front door open when I touch the handle really excites me!! hah

Anyway, look at the time - I’m going home. Bye!

  1. “Please ensure these microchips are injected by a qualified vet.”

    I still can’t believe you’re doing this!

  2. Awesome, I bet the vet won’t do it, but knowing you I know you’ll do it yourself :D
