Was just poking around on the net and discovered that I have climbed the google ladder some more, and now hold the top spot for a google images search for Will Boyce too! Shame I look an absolute mess though! (I’m the one in the middle, by the way).

Wii Define Fun

Filed under: Life, Technology — Will Boyce on May 31st, 2007 @ 11:48

…in the words of Jonathon ‘Woss’, and that is exactly what I’m going to spend my entire night doing on my brand new Nintendo Wii! Just picked it up from Game, and I can’t wait to get home. I decided to go a bit mental and bought 5 games for my Wii; leaving me with:

I wouldn’t mind a copy of Wii Play (most for the extra controller) but they didn’t have any copies of those left.. Might try Game Station etc later.

I just can’t bloody wait to get home.. Although… There is a projector in my office…? hmmmm

Exercise

Why would you do it to yourself, unless you were blissfully unaware of the INTENSE PAIN you’ll be feeling the next day? I went to Ashton Gardens last night, to play Football. Met Dan, Mike, Kit, Luke, and Max there.. Adam joining us shortly after, and I tell you what.. I am in fucking agony today. We played for about two and a half hours, during which I got kicked full swing, took a full pelt vollet from Mike to the face from about a metre away, went flying onto a gravel path and crippled my back, and many other misc injuries. Why?! It’s just not fun!

It does also bring to light, however, my fitness level. Not cool. I thought I was having an asthma attack until I realised I wasn’t asthmatic (throat felt about 5mm wide :x) and I was definately knackered after the first five minutes or so. I now face a very tough decision in my life - do I get back into exercise, no pain no gain and all that. Tone myself up a bit, and just get myself generally healthier… OR, do I just avoid exercise like the plague, no pain no problem - sounds more like a motto I would follow! Yes, I think I’ve just made my decision actually. If you need me I’ll be in the fridge.

Oh yeah, somewhat off-topic but we put a holding fee down on a House in Didsbury on Saturday, so all going well I should be moving with Ross and Han on 23rd June, and yes.. There will be a leaving party!

Tomorrow is Going to Own

So, sometime this week I decided that I want an RFID Tag Implant.. For the uneducated among you, this means I will be having a 2mm x 12mm RFID Transmitter (professionally) implanted underneath the skin in my right hand.

But why? You may be asking.. Well a whole host of reasons. Basically anything you do with a key, you can do without a key. Then all the other reasons, and just the general automation of things.. Could even go all Bill Gates about things and have the lights (porn?) come on when I walk into my house.. Nice!

Tomorrow, my Sterile tags + Implanter Syringe arrive from ManningsRFID along with my PhidgetsRFID Reader from Active-Robots. First project? Not sure.. Sometime over the next few days I’ve got a book - RFID Toys coming, should provide some assistance. Probably go with something nice and simple like unlock my PC at first, but the idea of having my front door open when I touch the handle really excites me!! hah

Anyway, look at the time - I’m going home. Bye!
