That’s right! I’ve got a job interview! Nothing special, nothing to write home about, and nothing to blog about to be honest.. But what the hell. It’s only Bar Work, but it’s work, which means I can get a bloody flat! Hazah. And I can do bar work - I did it full time for 9 months!

Sent off for an application form for some Network Admin job for Lancs CC..So hopefully that’ll go well. I’ve re-applied to EDS too, hopefully I’ll get further than last time!

In other news, I’ve been working some more on www.willboyce.com, and another subdomain; whois.willboyce.com, which will serve as a online portfolio of some sort, containing my cv, samples of work I have done, employment history and relevant qualifications etc. Need to get cracking on console.willboyce.com to tie it all together……. Need to order srv2.willboyce.com! (…to be continued!)

So, Zack turned up eventually, and I set off on the path of job-hunting. Unfortunately it was cut very short, when I got to the bottom of the stairs and discovered that Bryson had managed to lock me inside his flat! Phonecalls to landlords were made, to no avail… It would seem I just have to sit tight and pray there isn’t a fire!… Guess I’ll geta house/job tomorrow?

Hmm, was just filling in a job application form for Wetherspoons, and when it came to writing the date I noticed something that I felt to be blog-worthy… The date, today is 06/06/2006. Using my poetic licence *flashes licence* I’ll butcher it up a little…. And here we go 6/6/6!! Omg we’re all gonna die, the antichrist is nigh!

On a slightly more serious note, I’ve got 2 filled in job application forms here, about to go hand them in (The Admiral, and Wetherspoons) as soon as Zack gets here, then we’re gonna go chill in the park/sun! mmm, What a beautiful day!

Feeling the need to satisfy my need to do some coding, I’ve had a little fiddle around. I’ve added some extra stats to my stats page about Words (courtesy of Word Stats) and stuff… The plugin didn’t work immediately though. If you don’t have your wordpress table_prefix set to (what I presume to be the default) “wp_” it will fail, and you’ll need to edit the code, modifying the MySQL statement on line 62 to say “FROM appropriateprefix_posts” - hopefully the author will pick up on this and make use of $table_prefix in future releases.

Also thrown together a basic template for www.willboyce.com… Should give me something to keep myself busy between finding a home and a job! hah

Hah, this just got brought to my attention and I found it that funny, that it definately needed publishing! This show was made as a joke between itv staff, but accidently aired prime time on itv (quite a few years ago).. So I’m told! Either way, it’s definately worth a watch!
